In my many years of learning from Tosha, I can honestly say that she is one of my favorite choreographers/instructors to dance for. I am consistently finding myself working so much harder in her classes than most teachers because she sees your real potential and holds you accountable for dancing on that level. She identifies your weaknesses and shows you how to properly execute the movement by breaking it down in a very simple and easy to understand manner. When choreographing, she uses every dancers strength to really push the envelope with each and every combination. I can honestly say that I have learned more from working with Tosha than I have with anyone else. She takes time to personally connect with each student and gives them hope and confidence which sets such a good mood for class, making it easier to thrive!

If sunshine ever assumed a human form, there would lie Tosha Pendergrast, with purple leopard-print rays of light no less!   Just as the sun nourishes earth, so too does Tosha's warm, radiant spirit cultivate confidence and ignite passion in the hearts of each dancer. Her charisma fosters an enjoyable learning atmosphere while her fierce spunk, along with her innovative, dynamic and fresh choreography, propels performance to the next level. From the Friday night lights to our state competition, Tosha was always prepared, representing my school proudly and professionally. Because of her myriad gifts, my dance team thrived under Tosha's direction.

Tosha is one of the most incredible people that I have had the privilege of working with in my dance career thus far. She fully commits to her work; taking great care in whatever she is involved in whether it is teaching, choreographing, dancing, or even serving as a mentor. It has been an honor to have been a student of Tosha's for many years, and I have experienced firsthand just how much she cares for the wellbeing of her students. Under her instruction, every student feels nurtured, encouraged, and celebrated. Having Tosha as not only a teacher, but as a role model as well has helped to prepare me for a successful career in dance because she has instilled in me a strong work ethic and fueled my passion to pursue dance professionally. Leading by example, Tosha's dedication to her craft and her peers is simply put - inspiring. I feel honored to know a woman of such devotion, diligence, and poise.
